IT Support Engineer - IT Ops

Yoba is looking for IT Support Engineer to join our IT Operations team. You will be providing L1 IT support services to the company users and assist with our banking platform operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide L1  IT support services to the company users

  • Identify, manage and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner

  • Prepare, install and configure IT equipment (notebooks, printers, mobile devices, network hardware)

  • Monitor cloud-based infrastructure for performance and security issues

  • Create and update procedures, check lists and frequently asked questions documentation

  • Provide users training and prepare security awareness communications

  • Participate in cross-functional IT projects related to IT support activities

Requirements

  • MS of BS in Computer Science or another related engineering degree

  • Experience maintenaning and troubleshooting Windows and OS X systems, MS Office and business applications

  • Good knowledge in Network (internet protocol stack, VPNs) and Security (monitoring and alerting tools)

  • Ability to assess, plan, prioritize the workload according to the business impact of the incidents

  • Experience working with ticketing tools (preferably Jira)

  • A strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Any additional IT trainings and certifications are considered as an asset

  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
